The price of rent in Wuhan is very affordable compared to larger cities in China like Shanghai and Shenzhen. Rent prices vary depending on the number of bedrooms, whether the apartment is serviced/furnished, and location—complexes in the city center of Hankou are generally more expensive than those in the Hanyang district, for example. On average, the monthly rent ranges from ¥2,000–5,000.
