The moment has come to celebrate a remarkable journey. We invite you to join us as we honor the achievements and growth of the Class of 2026. This ceremony marks not just the end of a chapter, but the beginning of bold new adventures for our graduates. Come stand with us—families, friends and staff—as we cheer, reflect and send off our newest alumni of Wuhan Yangtze International School.

Secondary Checkout Fair

There will be a Checkout Fair for all Secondary students (leaving and returning) in the library on Tuesday, June 9 from 11:30-12:15. The Checkout Fair is a one-stop service for students to return their textbooks and electronic devices, and to clear all outstanding accounts. Because of the Checkout Fair, school buses will depart from the school at 12:15 for Secondary students.

For all leaving + graduating students
Official documents will be ready for pick up on Monday, June 15 from the Registrar. Please make sure your child has submitted the checkout form indicating that he or she has returned all books and cleared all outstanding accounts. End of Quarter 4 After-School Activities

Due to the Class of 2026 graduation ceremony on Friday, June 5, all After-School Activities will end on Thursday, June 4 instead of June 5. There will be no After-School Activities on June 5.

Water Day

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, June 10! It is time for one of our favorite end-of-year traditions: Water Day! Get ready for a morning packed with fun, laughter and lots of splashes! It’s a non-uniform day for all students, so come dressed in clothes you don’t mind getting soaked—but remember, no white shirts or shorts.

ECC

  • Location: ECC outdoor learning area
  • Time: 9:30-10:30
  • No water guns will be allowed. Students will use materials provided by classroom teachers.

Lower Elementary (Grades 1-2)

  • Location: Covered court
  • Time: 10:15-11:15
  • No water guns will be allowed. Students will use materials provided by classroom teachers.

Upper Elementary (Grades 3-5)

  • Location: Soccer field
  • Time: 9:15–10:15
  • Students can use buckets, cups, or water bottles. No water balloons or guns are allowed.
  • Students need to bring a towel and a change of clothes to school.

Secondary

  • Location: Soccer field
  • Time: 11:05-11:30
  • Students should bring a towel and a change of clothes to school.
  • Students should wear dark-colored clothing for the water fight (no white shirts or shorts) and may bring buckets and/or water guns, but no water balloons.

Reports from our spring MAP testing for Kindergarten to Grade 10 are now available in "DocBox" on PowerSchool. Please log in to PowerSchool to view your child's report.

Last day of school

The last day of school is Wednesday, June 10. It will be a half-day with students dismissed at 11:30.

Buses will depart from school at 11:45.

Gaokao traffic delays

Plan for high traffic and a longer commute this weekend as local high school students will be taking the gaokao test from Sunday, June 7 to Tuesday, June 9. This does not affect our students, though it may affect your commute to school.

  • Boxue Road will be closed to general traffic from Sunday-Tuesday. Vehicles can only enter the school from the north/New Golden Harbor side of Boxue Road. You must display your school parking pass to enter and exit the school.
  • Vehicles can only enter our school at morning arrival and afternoon dismissal. Vehicles will be prohibited from entering in the middle of the school day.
  • Do not use your car horn on these days.
  • Please allow plenty of extra time to allow for alternate routes and busy traffic. People who walk or ride a bicycle to school should not be affected.

Library check out times for returning students and their families during the summer are...

10:00-12:00 and 13:00-15:00

All books checked out during the summer will be due on Tuesday, August 11, the first day of school.

Lost an item? Please check the Lost and Found at the entrance of the cafeteria! Any items left by the end of day on Wednesday, June 10 will be donated or discarded.
