Grade 10 parent meeting
Parents of Grade 10 students are invited to a parent meeting with our College and Career Counselor, Linda Liu, this Friday. This session will provide important insights into your child’s college application journey, including key timelines, expectations, and how our school supports students throughout the process. It’s a valuable opportunity to gain clarity and ask questions as you begin planning for the next steps in your child’s education.

Secondary spring concert
Join us for our Secondary spring concert on Wednesday, April 29 at 17:30! Enjoy an evening of wonderful music as our talented performance showcase the hard work and dedication they’ve put in throughout the semester. We look forward to seeing you there as a memorable celebration of music and community.
Elementary spring concert
Join us in the PAB auditorium on Friday, May 8 at 9:30 as our Elementary students take the stage to share music about friendship!
May Day holiday
May Day holiday is on Thursday, April 30 and Friday, May 1. There is no school for all students.
Classes resume on Monday, May 4.

As we look forward to a fantastic new school year together, we would like to request that parents of students who are returning in fall 2026 to confirm your family details in PowerSchool. To secure a spot for your child next school year, please take about 5 minutes to complete the online forms in PowerSchool. The deadline for completing your details is April 30.

Spring MAP testing
We will continue spring MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) testing next week. We conduct MAP tests regularly throughout the year, which allows us to track students’ growth each time they test. Please ensure that your child is present for school and arrives on time on testing dates.

Parent survey
We would like to remind families to complete our annual LifePlus Parent Survey by Friday, April 24. Your thoughtful feedback supports our continuous improvement and helps us better serve our students and community. Please check the email from our main office sent on April 13 which includes the QR code for the survey.
US essay contest
To celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the United States, the American Chamber of Commerce in China invites American students living in China to share their reflections on America’s values, history, and future. Through this essay contest, students are encouraged to explore what America at 250 means to them – drawing on their unique perspectives as Americans growing up and studying in China.
The essay contest is open only to US passport holders in Grades 1-12. Submissions are due by July 4, 2026.
