Registration opens tomorrow for Student-Led Conferences
March 17, 2026
Reserve your slot for Student-Led Conferences
Our Spring Student-Led Conferences (SLCs) will take place over one and a half days: Monday, April 13 from 13:00–17:30, and Tuesday, April 14 from 9:00–17:30. Please note that Monday, April 13 is a half day of school with dismissal at 11:30.
SLCs are a powerful opportunity for students to take ownership of their learning by presenting their academic progress, goals, and reflections directly to their parents. For parents, it's a meaningful way to gain insight into their child’s growth and celebrate achievements in partnership with both the student and school.
Important Information:
- The duration of each conference meeting time booked through PowerSchool is 25 minutes.
- All students are required to attend at least one conference. Failure to attend the conference will be considered an absence.
- ECC students should come to campus to meet with their teachers.
- ECC and Elementary parents should schedule a conference with the homeroom teacher through PowerSchool.
- Secondary parents should only schedule a conference with the advisory teacher through PowerSchool.
- On the day of SLCs, Secondary parents and students who wish to meet with a subject teacher may check the teacher’s schedule (posted outside their classroom) and choose an available time. Each subject teacher conference will last for 15 minutes.
- If you have any questions, please email our main office at wyisoffice@wyischina.com.
Registration for Student-Led Conferences opens at 9:00 on Thursday, March 19 and will close at 21:00 on Thursday, March 26. Parents need to log in to PowerSchool to sign up for appointments.
Instructions on how to register for an appointment in PowerSchool can be viewed here.

La Grande Lessive
Our students and staff are invited to join EFIW in La Grande Lessive on Thursday, March 19. La Grande Lessive is an international art project held in schools worldwide. Participants hang their creations—such as paintings, drawings, or digital art—on clotheslines, mirroring the old-fashioned, communal way of drying clothes.
The theme for this year is “I and We.” The aim is to hang a sequence of three types of items on clotheslines strung outdoors on campus on March 19. Participants can bring their artwork to the outdoor courtyard facing the ECC classrooms in the morning when they arrive at school.
• A three-dimensional item of clothing (chosen or created for the occasion), such as a shirt, jacket, etc.
• An A4-sized image related to this clothing (drawing, painting, photograph, collage)
• A text related to this clothing, formatted on an A4 sheet
EFIW Carnival
EFIW will be having their Carnival event on Wednesday, April 1. All students and staff can come to school dressed as their favorite character. Students can choose not to dress up, but they must still wear their school uniform.
Select students from our school will have the exciting opportunity to join students from EFIW in a parade through the academic building in the morning.
