| Tuesday | Monochrome Day—dress from head to toe in the same color |
| Wednesday | Character Day—dress up as your favorite character |
| Thursday | Sports Day—dress like your favorite sport or team |
| Friday | Chinese Culture Day—dress up in in Chinese cultural clothing |
Note:
- Students and teachers must follow school dress code.
- If students choose not to dress up, they must wear their school or PE uniform.
Spring Festival holiday
Friday, February 13 is a half day of school. Students are dismissed at 11:30.
Spring Festival holiday is from February 16-27. There is no school for students.
School resumes for all students on Monday, March 2.
Read-a-Thon
The Read-a-Thon is back, and we’re inviting students from Grades 1-12 to participate from Monday, March 2 through Monday, March 16. During this time, the library’s after-school hours will be extended until 16:30 every day except Tuesday.
This year’s theme is historical fiction, biography, autobiography, and memoir. Students will set personal reading goals, and the more historical fiction and biographies they read, the more prizes they can earn. We’re excited to see students walk in someone else’s shoes, reach their reading goals, and grow as readers along the way.
Questions? Please email Mrs. Lampkin and Mrs. Tang at library@wyischina.com, or come by the library.
