Spirit Week

Student Council is excited to present this month’s Spirit Week from Monday, November 24 to Friday, November 28! Students and teachers are encouraged to come to school dressed in a different theme each day.

Thursday: Career Day—dress as your dream job.
Friday: Crazy Day—go wild with hair, clothes, or makeup.

Note:

  • Students and teachers must follow school dress code.
  • If students choose not to dress up, they must wear the school polo or PE uniform.

If you know of anyone who might benefit from being in our fantastic Wuhan Yangtze International School, please spread the word! After all, we are the oldest foreign expatriate school in Wuhan with the largest number of expatriate children.

Additionally, if your family will not be attending Wuhan Yangtze in Quarter 3, please submit this form through email to admissions@wyischina.com or call us by Friday, December 5.

EFIW Telethon

École française internationale de Wuhan (EFIW) will be hosting a fundraiser on campus on Saturday, December 6. This is a charitable event in support of the French Muscular Dystrophy Association which aims at curing neuromuscular diseases.

From 16:30-18:30, various fun activities will be available for children. Parents can purchase a game card onsite for their child for 75 RMB to participate in the games. Additionally, dinner will be provided afterwards by Modena Hotel. The price is 150 RMB for adults and 100 RMB for children. A reservation is required for the dinner – please RSVP here.

From 18:30-21:00, there will be a karaoke and additional family-friendly games in the cafeteria.

Join us for our school's Secondary Christmas Concert on Friday, December 12 at 18:00 in the PAB auditorium. It's going to be a magical night filled with holiday cheer, fantastic performances, and lots of fun! We can't wait to see you there!

PTO Christmas Market

Stop by the Buffalo Room to do some holiday shopping at our PTO Christmas Market on Friday, December 5! We will have fresh snacks made by our PTO, baked treats, hot chocolate and other hand-made items for sale. In addition, a special guest, Santa Claus, will be visiting for photo-taking!
