Mark your calendars for Thursday, June 12! It is time for one of our favorite end-of-year traditions: Water Day! Get ready for a morning packed with fun, laughter, and lots of splashes! It’s a non-uniform day for all students, so come dressed in clothes you don’t mind getting soaked — but remember, no white shirts or shorts.

ECC

• Location: ECC outdoor learning area
• Time: 9:30-10:30
• No water guns will be allowed. Students will use materials provided by classroom teachers.

Lower Elementary (Grades 1-2)

• Location: Covered court
• Time: 10:15-11:15
• No water guns will be allowed. Students will use materials provided by classroom teachers.

Upper Elementary (Grades 3-5)

• Location: Soccer field
• Time: 9:15–10:15
• Students can use buckets, cups, or water bottles. No water balloons or guns are allowed.
• Students need to bring a towel and a change of clothes to school.

Secondary

• Location: Soccer field
• Time: 11:05-11:30
• Students should bring a towel and a change of clothes to school.
• Students should wear dark-colored clothing for the water fight (no white shirts or shorts) and may bring buckets and/or water guns, but no water balloons.

The end of the school year is coming quickly. Please pay careful attention to the library dates below. All library books are due this Friday, June 6, and all textbooks are due Wednesday, June 11. You will be asked to pay a replacement fee for any lost books that cannot be found and returned by Wednesday, June 11.

Important library dates

Parents and students from Grades 3-12 are welcome to borrow library books over the summer if they are re-enrolled for the next school year. We simply ask that you do not take your library books out of Wuhan. If you plan to travel over the summer, please leave your books in a safe place at home, where you will not forget them. You are also invited to come to the library during our summer hours. All summer checkouts will be due on the first day of school in the fall on Tuesday, August 12.

We are excited to offer 20 Teaching Assistant (TA) positions for high school students in the upcoming school year. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a subject area you’re passionate about while building your portfolio for college and beyond. Limited slots are open. The last day of school is Thursday, June 12. It will be a half-day with students dismissed at 11:30. Buses will depart from school at 11:45.

2025-26 school year
The first day of the 2025-26 school year is on Tuesday, August 12. We have Open House on Monday, August 11 for all students.

Calling all book lovers! Join us for storytime in our library this summer. We will be reading 1–2 books to children — perfect for a morning adventure through stories! Open to all our students.
