SECONDARY LEARNING CELEBRATION
Calling all secondary parents!
Want to know what your child has been learning all year in Secondary? Come check it out at the Secondary Learning Celebration on Friday, May 24.
The event begins at 6pm in the auditorium with performances, presentations, and awards. After the program, head over to the cafeteria for an exhibition of student learning from 6:30-8pm.
We look forward to seeing you as we remember a fantastic year of learning.
During Quarter 4, our EC5 students have been learning about buying and selling. Their final project is a market where you can purchase handmade items from the students.
The market will take place in the 5th floor cafe area from 1:30-2:45 on Friday, May 24. Parents, students, and staff - come join us in the market and help support our EC5 students. .
PROCEDURES FOR EXITING FAMILIES
We understand that some families will exit from WYIS at the end of year. We would like to make your leaving process as smooth as possible. If you are planning to leave WYIS at the end of year, please fill out the Notice of Departure form by May 22. This will help us to prepare all the necessary documents for you. All of the documents for exiting families and graduating students will be available for picking up from our Registrar Ms. Agnes Liu from Monday, June 10 between 9 am to 3 pm. All the yearly report cards for returning students will be available over the summer vacation or during the 2019/2020 school year.
Please make sure you have no outstanding books, equipment, instruments or payments due before the last day of school. According to our policy, the registrar cannot release any documents before everything is clear. If there are any refunds you believe are due to you, please discuss this with the Finance Office directly.
Please contact our registrar if you have any questions (email@example.com).

There will be a check–out fair for all secondary students (leaving and returning) in the library on Wednesday, June 5, from 11:30 until 1 PM. The check-out fair is a one-stop service for students to return all their textbooks, library books, electronic devices, and clear all outstanding accounts.
