OUR COMMUNITY: INNOVATION THROUGH CONNECTION
(part 1 of 4)
Did you know that Wuhan Yangtze International School has always been part of a larger system of international schools and a global education network? (You might have seen “iSC” or “International Schools Consortium” on different event names.) Being part of this global family helps us to innovate and grow as we share research, knowledge and ideas that continually help us to develop students who learn, love and lead.
Schools’ Spotlight
Ras Al Khaimah
The WellSpring School in Ras al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, collaborates with Quest4Excellence. Working closely with NASA, Quest4Excellence provides our students with hands-on learning about space, the universe, science and coding. In March of 2023, the UAE launched an astronaut to the International Space Station (ISS), and our students were able to send messages to the ISS, as well as offering an introductory space program course to students outside of WellSpring.
Wuhan
In January 2023, Wuhan Yangtze International School in Wuhan, China ranked #1 out of 348 teams in the VEX World Virtual Skills Competition in robotics. Wuhan has developed a globally award-winning robotics program through the hard work of the students and staff at the school, and also in collaboration with other teams throughout our community of schools.
