Parent-Teacher Conferences (PTC) will be held on Wednesday, April 10, from 9-5. These conferences provide a time for you to meet and work with your student’s teachers to discuss your student’s progress and goals. Upper elementary and secondary students are welcome to attend conferences. They may benefit from the opportunity to discuss their progress in an open forum with teachers and parents. Lower elementary parents are asked to attend without their children, in order to allow for the most effective time with teachers.

You can sign up for PTC by clicking this link or scanning the QR code. PTC sign up will be available from March 27-29. We recommend that parents review their student’s grades before booking an appointment. Because teachers prepare discussion points for these meetings, requests placed after this date cannot be guaranteed. Please select ONLY one time slot per teacher per student. If you have any questions, please contact the school’s main office. Thank you for your support.

The Re-Enrollment Fair is held at the same time as Parent-Teacher Conferences, on Wednesday, April 10.

The PowerSchool re-enrollment portal is open now and will close on April 17. Please contact Mrs. Jessica Han at jessica.han@wyischina.com if you have any further questions.

Smartphones are helpful tools but they also bring lots of challenges to our lives, especially the lives of teenagers. Because of their constant connection to smart phones, teens are experiencing more and more neck and spine problems; anxiety, sleep loss, and social problems; and a disconnectedness from family and friends.

Student Services has a great resource to share with you to help you have important conversations with your teens about smartphones. It's a free online video series that you do on your own time. Contact our Student Services department for the link or for more information (Sandra.Carpenter@wyischina.com).
