PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES

Parent-Teacher Conferences (PTC) will be held on Wednesday, April 10, from 9-5. These conferences provide a time for you to meet and work with your student’s teachers to discuss your student’s progress and goals. Upper elementary and secondary students are welcome to attend conferences. They may benefit from the opportunity to discuss their progress in an open forum with teachers and parents. Lower elementary parents are asked to attend without their children, in order to allow for the most effective time with teachers.

You can sign up for PTC by clicking this link or scanning the QR code. PTC sign up will be available from March 27-29. It is recommended that parents review their student’s grades before booking an appointment. Because teachers prepare discussion points for these meetings, requests placed after this date cannot be guaranteed. Please select ONLY one time slot per teacher per student. If you have any questions, please contact the school’s main office. Thank you for your support.

RE-ENROLLMENT FOR 2019/2020

If you have children returning to WYIS for the 2019/2020 school year, please make sure to go through the re-enrollment process. You can re-enroll on PowerSchool ahead of time, or you can come to the Re-Enrollment Fair to re-enroll in person. The Re-Enrollment Fair is held at the same time as Parent-Teacher Conferences, on Wednesday, April 10.

The PowerSchool re-enrollment portal is open now and will close on April 17.

Feel free to contact Mrs. Jessica Han at jessica.han@wyischina.com if you have any further questions. Thank you!

MARCH SPIRIT DAYS

We have one more March Spirit Day -- next Wednesday, March 29, CRAZY DAY. Show your school spirit and dress in something crazy, but remember that our guidelines for dress code still apply. (Skirts and shorts must be at or below the knee. Shirts must have sleeves and should not have inappropriate writing or artwork. Shoes must fully cover the feet.)
