10 Weeks - November 11

It’s been 10 weeks since we opened our doors for the first day of school after 8 looong months of Covid. We started the 2020/2021 school year with only 8 foreign staff here on campus and about half our student body.

Here we are 10 weeks later. What’s changed? Well, everything.

We now have 38 foreign staff back on campus. There are 3 teachers and 2 principals still in the states, but tickets are in hand for half of that crew, and we wait expectantly for all of them to return.
In the meantime, roughly 90% of our students are back on campus.

Activities on campus are hopping! Advisories and assemblies are all in full swing, with Zoom students and live students all interacting beautifully. We’re hosting a soccer game today against a local school. Now more than ever, we all need physical outlets like this and a chance to cheer on our Buffaloes. The Christmas program is on the calendar and is exactly one month away. We also just completed MAP testing and so far have completed 4 parent workshops with many more to come.

So are we back? You bet we are! Our future is very bright, and we are happy that you’re part of it.
If you’re in town, come cheer on our soccer team today. Buffaloes play at 4:30. See you there or see you soon. Go, Buffaloes!
