Get ready to join in the fun as we participate in the EFIW's Carnival on Thursday, March 7! Select students from our school will have the exciting opportunity to join students from EFIW in a parade through the academic building in the morning.

All students and staff are encouraged to come dressed in costumes of their choice to celebrate this festive occasion together.

Note:
• Costumes must not have blood/gore and must be school-appropriate.
• Students can choose not to dress up for the day, but they must still wear their school uniform.

Parents of elementary students are encouraged to attend our Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) workshop on Thursday, March 7 at 14:00 in the first floor conference room. Please join us to learn more about how to read and interpret the MAP results. Whether you're looking to understand the basics or go deeper into the details, this workshop will equip you with the knowledge to better support your child's academic journey based on the MAP report.

Exciting news! We will be launching a new French language club for Secondary students. The club will meet every Wednesday from March 13 to May 29. Registration is now open on Power School, and interested students are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible. Don't miss this fantastic opportunity to expand your language skills and learn more about French culture.

The LifePlus Fine Arts Festival will take place in Tianjin on March 15-16. All secondary students are welcome to submit artwork to be displayed during the festival. We will select five works from middle school and five works from high school to represent Wuhan Yangtze. If the student wishes to participate in the art competition this year, there will be an extra step to complete. Please read the competition rules carefully in the provided QR code. If the student only wishes to exhibit and not compete, then the extra step will not apply. The competition submission deadline is March 8 and the exhibition-only deadline is March 10.

WYIS Student Council is hosting this month‘s Spirit Day on Wednesday, March 20! The theme is Sports Day. All students and teachers are encouraged to participate by coming to school in their favorite sports attire or team gear!

Notes:

• Spirit wear must be school-appropriate according to the dress code guidelines.
• If students choose not to dress up for the Spirit Day, they are expected to wear their school or PE uniforms as usual.
