New parent workshops

Mark your calendars for Friday, May 16 at 8:30 in the PAB auditorium! Come and enjoy a wonderful performance by our ECC students as they present a delightful mix of nursery songs. From timeless classics to fresh new tunes, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Join us for the Secondary Learning Showcase on Friday, May 23 in the PAB auditorium. Doors open at 18:00 for viewing student artwork and technology projects. The show starts at 18:30 with an awards ceremony and a recognition of the valedictorian of the Class of 2025. Enjoy performances from drama, band, choir, and Chinese language classes, in addition to senior speeches and a Fashion Show. Come and celebrate the hard work of our students this year!

Student Council is hosting a Middle School Lock-In event at school on Friday, May 16 from 17:00-21:30! This is a chance for Middle School students to have fun with friends by participating in various group activities prepared by the Middle School StuCo.

Note:

• Permission forms must be submitted to the StuCo store before Tuesday, May 13.
• Dinner will be provided, and can be paid for at the StuCo store for 25 RMB.
• While school uniforms will not be required, regular dress code rules still apply.

Parents are invited to an informative workshop led by Dr. Jennifer Birdsong, Superintendent of Schools for LifePlus. Dr. Birdsong will offer valuable insights into the integration of English Language Support (ELS) and Learning Support within LifePlus. The workshop is also a great opportunity for parents to gain a deeper understanding of the support systems in place at our school.

We will continue our spring MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) testing next week. We conduct MAP tests regularly throughout the year, which allows us to track students’ growth each time they test. Please ensure that your child is present for school and arrives on time on testing dates.

May 12-16: Grades 6-8
May 19-23: Grades 9-10
