ECC and Elementary students will perform camping songs at their spring concert! The performance will be held in the PAB auditorium at 14:15 on Thursday, June 6. Family and friends are invited to come and watch our students present the music that they have learned in class. Come and share in the fun!

The end of the school year is coming quickly. Please pay careful attention to the library dates below. All textbooks will be due Tuesday, June 11. You will be asked to pay a replacement fee for any lost books that cannot be found and returned by Tuesday, June 11.

Important library dates

• Tuesday, June 11: all textbooks are due and summer checkouts can begin
• Wednesday, June 12: the library closes at 11:45

Plan for high traffic and a longer commute next week as local high school students will be taking the gaokao test on Friday, June 7. This does not affect our students, though it may affect your commute to school.

Vehicles can only enter the school from the north/New Golden Harbor side of Boxue Lu. You must display your school parking pass to enter and exit the school.

Boxue Lu will be closed to general traffic from Friday-Sunday. Please allow plenty of extra time to allow for alternate routes and busy traffic. People who walk or ride a bicycle to school should not be affected.

Calling ALL readers! Our school is having a Book Giveaway. From textbooks to fun summer reads, there is something for everyone.

Come check out the PAB first floor classroom on June 5-7 from 15:00pm-16:15. Hope to see you there!

There will be a Checkout Fair for all Secondary students (leaving and returning) in the library on Tuesday, June 11 from 11:30-12:50. The Checkout Fair is a one-stop service for students to return their textbooks and electronic devices, and to clear all outstanding accounts. The school librarians, IT office, cashier, Finance Department and Registrar will be present during the fair to facilitate the checkout process.

Because of the Checkout Fair, school buses will depart from the school at 13:00. Students who wish to order school lunch must do so by the end of the school day on Friday, June 7.

For all leaving + graduating students
Official documents will be ready for pick up on Monday, June 17 from Agnes Liu, Registrar. Please make sure your child has submitted the checkout form indicating that he or she has returned all books and cleared all outstanding accounts.

Get ready for the ultimate last-day-of-school tradition: Water Day on Wednesday, June 12! It’s a non-uniform day for all students, so wear clothes you don’t mind getting soaked — no white shirts or shorts, please. Check out the details for each grade level below.

Lower elementary (EC3-Grade 2)

• ECC will have their games starting at 10:15.
• Grades 1 and 2 will begin their games at 11:00.
• No water guns will be allowed. Students will use materials provided by classroom teachers.

Upper elementary (Grades 3-5)

• Games will go from 10:20-10:35.
• Students can use buckets, cups, or water bottles. No water balloons or guns are allowed.
• Students need to bring a towel and a change of clothes to school.

Secondary

• Games will go from 11:05-11:30.
• Students should bring a towel and a change of clothes to school.
• Students should wear dark-colored clothing for the water fight (no white shirts or shorts) and may bring buckets and/or water guns, but no water balloons.

Reports from our spring MAP testing are now available in "DocBox" on PowerSchool. Please log in to your PowerSchool Parent Portal to view your child's report.

Parents and students from grades 3 to 12 are welcome to borrow library books over the summer if they are re-enrolled for the next school year. We simply ask that you do not take your library books out of Wuhan.

• If you plan to travel over the summer, please leave your books in a safe place at home, where you will not forget them.
• You are also invited to come to the library during our summer hours, which will be every Wednesday from July 10-31.
• All summer checkouts will be due on the first day of school in the fall, which will be Tuesday, August 13.

The last day of the 2023-24 school year is Wednesday, June 12. This is a half day of school with dismissal at 11:30.

2024-25 school year
The first day of school for the 2024-25 school year is Tuesday, August 13. Open House for all returning students and families will be on Monday, August 12. Important semester dates and holidays for next school year can be found here.
