"SATURDAY ZOOM DETENTION"
"It's the spring of 2020 in the USA, and everything has gone online due to the pandemic. This includes schools, theatres, and even detention. Seven unwilling teens gather on Zoom to serve their sentences. But as the day unfolds, unlikely bonds form, daring escapes are attempted, and others just try to survive Saturday Zoom Detention. Join us for this 45 min original comedy performed by students from all over ISC."
Two WYIS community members - Ellie S. (Gr. 12) and Ms. Sauer - worked together with other iSC students to rehearse and film this comedy about students surviving the perils on online learning in 2020. "Saturday ZOOM Detention" is released for public viewing this weekend only! View the play by scanning the QR code on the poster.
HIGH SCHOOL SCIENCE FAIR
Please join us for the High School Science and Engineering Fair at WYIS on Friday, November 27, from 1-3 PM.
The event starts at 1 in the Performing Arts Building Auditorium, where we’ll announce awards. From there, please join us on the 5th floor of the Academic Building for refreshments and interactions with the students about their projects. This is an exciting event where we celebrate the hard work of all students.
Please contact Bryan Fisher at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
