END-OF-YEAR CHECKOUT PROCEDURES
We have two more weeks until school ends. Please note this important information about end-of-year procedures:
There will be a check–out fair for all secondary students (leaving and returning) in the library on Wednesday, June 8, from 11: 30 until 12：50. The check-out fair is a one-stop service for students to return their textbooks, electronic devices, and clear all outstanding accounts. The school librarian, registrar, IT office, cashier, and finance department will all be present during the fair and will facilitate the end of year check- out.
Because of the check-out fair, school buses will depart from the school at 1 pm. Students who wish to order a school lunch can do so.
FOR ALL LEAVING & GRADUATING STUDENTS
Official documents will be ready for pick up from June 13, from Registrar Agnes Liu. Please make sure your child has submitted the check-out form indicating that he or she has returned all books and cleared all outstanding accounts.
FOR ALL RETURNING STUDENTS
To keep you informed about your child's academic performance, we will provide each student with a final official report card at the end of year. The report card will be available for pick up over the summer or at the beginning of the new school year. You can also check power school Docbox for electronic report card.
If you have any questions regarding this, please contact Ms. Agnes Liu at firstname.lastname@example.org.

SECONDARY FINAL EXAMS
Secondary Final Exams are June 2-9, 2022. Secondary students are released at 11:30 AM each day. Bus riders may enjoy a short recess until 11:45, when transportation will be provided. Elementary classes are in session all day this week. Secondary students may not stay in the building after 11:45 during Final exam week unless attending a review session requested by a teacher.
Final exam week offers high school students (Grades 9-12) an open campus. Students may choose to come to school only during exam blocks, or if they choose to study. Study hall blocks are not required exams.
WHAT TO DO WITH OLD SCHOOL UNIFORMS
Ever wondered what to do with a school uniform your child has outgrown or that is older, damaged, or you just don't need? If you have a uniform that is in good condition and know another WYIS family who could use these, we encourage you to recycle and share with them. However, there are three things we ask that you NOT do with any WYIS school uniform:
- Please do not dispose of it as is. Please cut out the logo before putting it in the trash.
- Please do not donate it (in recycle bins or elsewhere)
- Please do not give it to someone who is not a current WYIS student
To protect our school brand and reputation, only current WYIS students should wear our school uniforms. If you have a uniform in good condition that you would like to donate, please bring it to the school and we can recycle it for you among interested WYIS families. If you have questions, please contact email@example.com or use our Feedback Form.
On Monday, June 6, we are offering a textbook giveaway. Please drop by the Performing Arts Building between 8 AM and 4 PM. Most of the books we're giving away this time are elementary novels. Please come and take as many as you would like.
