New families will want to also attend our Pre-Open House from 4:30-5:30, in order to get help with registration, uniforms, finance, etc.

If you have children returning to WYIS for the 2019/2020 school year, please make sure to go through the re-enrollment process. You can re-enroll on PowerSchool ahead of time, or you can come to the Re-Enrollment Fair to re-enroll in person. The Re-Enrollment Fair is held at the same time as Parent-Teacher Conferences, on Wednesday, April 10.

The PowerSchool re-enrollment portal is open now and will close on April 17. Please contact Mrs. Jessica Han at jessica.han@wyischina.com if you have any further questions.

Smartphones are helpful tools but they also bring lots of challenges to our lives, especially the lives of teenagers. Because of their constant connection to smart phones, teens are experiencing more and more neck and spine problems; anxiety, sleep loss, and social problems; and a disconnectedness from family and friends.

Student Services has a great resource to share with you to help you have important conversations with your teens about smartphones. It's a free online video series that you do on your own time. Contact our Student Services department for the link or for more information (Sandra.Carpenter@wyischina.com).

We understand that some families will exit from WYIS at the end of year. We would like to make your leaving process as smooth as possible. If you are planning to leave WYIS at the end of year, please fill out the Notice of Departure form as soon as possible.

All of the documents for exiting families and graduating students will be available for picking up from our Registrar Ms. Agnes Liu from Monday, June 10 between 9 am to 3 pm. All the yearly report cards for returning students will be available over the summer vacation or during the 2019/2020 school year.

Please make sure you have no outstanding books, equipment, instruments, or payments due before the last day of school. According to our policy, the registrar cannot release any documents before everything is clear. If there are any refunds you believe are due to you, please discuss this with the Finance Office directly.

Please contact our registrar if you have any questions (registrar@wyischina.com)
