Instructional Program and Activities Fall 2020

Keeping Active, Keeping Safe

Life in Wuhan is slowly getting back to "normal." As we look forward to the start of school in September 2020, we are working to provide as many of the typical fall activities as possible, while keeping students and staff safe. In addition, we are working with the Provinical Foreign Affairs Office to obtain permission for our teachers and their families to return to Wuhan as soon as possible.

Below are Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) about the fall 2020 program. Please let us know how we can support you.

1. Some of my child’s teachers are not currently able to return to China. For those classes, how will instruction take place?
Teachers not in China will continue to plan lessons and teach through video and online discussion tools. Specific times will be arranged each day for students to work with teachers located overseas. These teachers will present video instruction to the class. Students will then work in small groups and individually to practice skills. Overseas teachers will continue to provide individual student feedback and will follow up with parent meetings just as they would in a face-to-face learning environment.
